Back At Penn

You know the Pennchants are back at Penn when one of our members gets assaulted by three randos during NSO. As Ronald McDonald would say, I'm lovin' it.

The Pennchants are back and ready to take on some new members! But first, we will be performing at Freshman Performing Arts Night (FPAN) this Saturday (September 12th). If you are interested in trying out, come check us out. If you are interested in throwing lingerie at us while we perform, come check us out. It's a great opportunity to get a sample of all of Penn's performing arts groups, including the Pennchants. The show starts at 6:30PM at Zellerbach Theatre. If you don't know where that is, just Bing it.

After you see us perform, get excited for auditions. Here is the information:

Wow, Megan Fox is hot.

Any questions? Contact our:

business manager, Mike: winsten@wharton.upenn.edu

Long Time, No Post

It's been a while, but the Pennchants are back! It's been a crazy semester, but one full of great things. Here are just a few:

1. We've been planning our 20th anniversary show
2. We had to cancel a mixer with a Drexel group because of the meningitis scare
3. Zhibo found a girlfriend on the New York subway

Anyway, we'll be getting back to y'all soon with details about the big 2-0. The Pennchants are almost legal.

In the mean time, don't catch the measles! Too soon?

Happy Holidays

I have something to share about the Pennchants. As an a cappella group that holds itself to the  highest of moral standards (yes, we paid the Cornell Touchtones back for getting their car towed), the Pennchants believes that trust and inclusion are very important virtues.

For those of you who do not remember - which I'm sure is every one - two entries ago I posted a photo of the Pennchants. Dan Silverman has been pretty down and out about not being included in that photo. In the spirit of Qwanzaa, Nick Cocca was nice enough to photoshop him into the pic. I figured that I would post the new and improved group shot:

I think we are a more attractive group in black and white.

Merry Christmas!

XOXOXOXO,
The Meiers

What's Next?

First of all, a big thank you to every one who came out to see our fall show! We were so good that some one felt the need to bitch about us on Juicy Campus. That's when you know you've made it.

Now we are back to working on our newest CD. After a long session in the recording studio this weekend, we took advantage of a good photo opp:

Dan decided to sleep in and therefore isn't shown above. Sorry, Dan.

We also have to start deciding which songs to sing for our spring 20th anniversary show! What about the song from the following video? Maybe?

...maybe not.
